Whilst out for a walk yesterday we saw some really pretty looking dogs but a bit strange as well, they were Border collies but were white with pale blue and bluey grey fur and really bright blue eyes. ( they looked a bit mad to be honest)
I was just wondering whether they were what people refer to as merle coloured.

p.s perhaps a bit mad was a bit harsh as they were lovely and probably the most docile border collies i've ever met

Sounds like merle - it can vary tremendously :) Did they have tails - they might have been Aussies :D

yup sounds like a blue merle, they can have brown or blue eyes but normally come out blue!!
