We are a family living in Essex and would like to aquire a couple of puppies. We would really like to have 2 females. We do not intend to show them, we would just like them for family pets. We have put a lot of though into the kind of family dog we would like and although we have longed for a family pet for a number of years, due to previous work commitments and the ages of our children we believe that the time is now right to introduce an addition to our family. We have also though a lot about the time of year to purchase a dog and have decided to take our family holiday early this year in order that our children could commit the whole of their summer holidays to looking after the new members of our family and therefore would like to be able to have them at the end of July. We have chosen to aquire 2 dogs just on the basis that they would keep each other company when we are out of the house.
My Name is Jackie.

Hi Jackie

Any idea what breed?

As for having two puppies together this is not generally recommended as the puppies bond to each other rather than you. It's better to get one - let it grow up and settle in - time will depend on breed, then get another.

Depending on how long you are thinking of leaving them, then it's not always necessary to have two to keep each other company.

Do let us know what breed tho then we can advise further

:)
