Judging starts at 8.30 so I would think about 8, will go have a look on the KC site ;) Well had a look and it seems to tell you everything except what time it opens.

Hi, checked my schedule and it said dogs received from 6.30 am, so obviously people can enter too, not sure if the public can get in at that time or just exhibitors?  I've never tried to arrive early - susally turn up about 8 - 8.30.  Dont think there would be too much to see first thing.
bye

Well I will be making a Bee-line for the stand which sells the gorgeous glittery collars and things - Lewis still needs a velvet lead to comlete his outfit, and I think Puglet might like yet another set! :) , and poor little Patsy pug hasn't even got a glittery collar of her own yet! I just love Crufts shopping.  I bought Dexter one of the "Crufts Trophy" squeakies last year, and was a bit cheesed off that a couple of months later you could get them anywhere!  (Dex didnt seem to mind).  Sensible shopping, hopefully there will be some clipper blade deals, and for me  ..  well, I got a gorgeous fleecy last lyear with paw prints on, perhaps one in another colour this year?  Oh, and must not forget the Jewellery stand which comes over from Amsterdam - perhaps 1 (or 2) more doggy charms for my new Charm bracelet (so far got a Pug, a Yankee, a paw print and a pair of scissors!)  Ok,  so will watch the dogs too, of course ;) but Crufts is ALL ABOUT SHOPPING (isn't it????) ;)

Doggy charms!!! Excellent!

My mum gave me her charm bracelet for my 30th.  It was her mothers before her.  We keep searching for things to add to it, that would show my interests too.  Doggy charms would be perfect!

Gwen, do you know what the stand is called?  So that i can make a bee-line for them once I get in there....

I'm so excited for you guys (first timers) you have absolutely no idea just how fantastic Crufts really is. You'll be like kids let loose in a sweetie shop, it's a real Alladins cave, jam packed with interesting and wonderful goodies. The sights, the sounds and the smells, hmmm I'm transported there already. No other show has the same atmosphere, Crufts is unique. I love it, and I have been going since the days at Olympia, my first time was in 1975.
This might be your first visit but it will not be your last, you can't fail to enjoy yourselves.
Maybe I'll see you there!!! I'll be by the Yankee ring with Gwen and Lea, OK girls.

Hi Caroline,

Just searched through my jewellery drawer, but cant find any of the boxes, since the charms got put on the chain.  It is a Dutch firm, and for the past 2 years the stand has been in the downstaris hall (the one with the obedience /agility ring.  Will see if I can dig our last years programme thingy and check the trade stand names - will recognise it when I see it!  they do a great range, all breeds, plus soem doggy related things (paw prints/dumbells etc) all in gold, silver, or gold plate.

Thanks Gwen

My bracelet is jingling with loads of lovely things put on by my mother, and by her mother.  It'd be so good to have some charms on there from me too.

Cheers
