I am located in upstate NY and looking to purchase a Large Munsterlander as a domestic pet. I live in a very rural area with 5+ acres of yard and looking for information on local breeders. I am also interested information about the cost of this breed. I have researched several breeds and feel that the Lg. Munster shows the most desirable qualities for adding as a new family member to my home. I researched the breed on the internet about a year ago, and what I came across was that most munsterlander breeders are reluctant to sell t o people who won't work the breed. You might find differently, or someone in the forum may know of this. But I agree, they seem like a great family dog and they're beautiful dogs.
