When weaning a litter of puppies, what is the best thing to start them off on? At what age and how often would you advise? They are of a miniature breed size.

Hi,
with mine (large breed) I startedweaning at 3 weeks of age.  I used puppy milk, mixed with a complete (soaked) puppy food, and mixed it all together in the food processor.  To start with, I made it very liquid so the pups could learn to lap it up, and then gradually made it thicker as they got older.
They were fed at 8am, Midday, 4pm, 8pm, and midnight.
I found this worked well with my pups, but there are lots of other ways.
I'm sure more people will be along soon to offer advice.
