Panic strikes as I enter Lola for her (and my) first show :D.
Can anyone tell me what an ATC No is? Is it different to a Kennel Club Reg number?

I did a search but came up with nothing :)

If you are based in, and showing in the UK then othing to worry about.  ATC only relevant to dogs from overseas showing in UK

Thanks for the prompt reply Gwen :) I can now post them! I've spent ages scouring my paper work looking for the dammed thing :D You'd have thought by now I'd have had the sense to post on Champdogs! I'd have saved myself ages!!!

atc number for dog that not reg with the kc,but are reg in their own countrie but want to show over here in the uk,or other events held under the kc rules.
they aply to the kc with their papers.then the kc will issue a number to them and they will be reg with the kc for show,working,litter reg etc.

the only reason i know abit about it i just got a fcr over here to mate my bitch.from sweden,so he was issue the atc number last month.so i can reg the pupppies if there going to be any.

If you are competing in obedience it reads ATC or Reg number as you have to include the registration number for this but not (at the moment anyway) when showing.

but oversea dogs only atc number, not a reg number

i have had two obedience schedules and one breed shcedule sent back to me last year for not putting my atc number on,in the end i put the kc reg number on and they were excepted i know of a few other people that this has happened to and now we just put the kc number on as a matter of course, so far this year no returned entries.

Only obedience dogs need their KC numbers on but there is no harm putting it on all entry forms
