does anyone know where i can get a  bigger safety gate than i already have as my great dane can step over this one already!!!! it because i have a baby who will be crawling soon and to keep the dog away from my daughter when shes eating   (she has a habit of feeding her dinner to the dog) i cant close the door cos he can open the door!!!

How does he open the door?  If it's because you have a leaver door handle turn the door handle upside down so it leavers UP instead of down - most dogs can't work this one out......

he jumpson the handle and pulls it down  hes a great dane so hes just leaning on the door and steps on the  handle pushing it down he does the same in the back yard so we have toi bolt the door when hes outside

Argos do an excellent dog gate which is really tall.  I have two of them :)

They are made by Lintran and are I beleive 42 inches tall.  My friend has one for use with the Dobermans.  I have been tempted to get one, but my old one the older dogs jump over it to get away from pups, which is fine by me, but I am worried if I got the tall one they would still try to jump it, and the 12 year old especially could hurt herself.  They are 20 inch tall dogs and have no problem jumping the 32 inch one I have, but it contains young pups fine.

Yes, we have two as well and they are excellent, with really good positive catches.

My dane can open round handles and upside down handles. We even took the handle off the pull open door leaving just a tiny screw, and he gets his teeth around that and opens it! :D
