Can anybody tell me why on my dogs pedigree intch is written in red and kennel name is in black .Also mum is not a champ but has 2cc at present if she eventually becomes a champ can i have my dogs pedigree altered or would this stay the same and only declared if my dog were to have pups.
thanks caroline

INT CH = International Champion.
All the dogs name could be written in red, I guess some only write the CH or INT etc in red.
But I'd personally write it all in red.

The sire of my pup wasn't a champion when she was born but subsequently became a champion.
I asked about this and was told that I could use CH. on my show entries and if I was to breed
from my dog I could then put on the pedigrees grandsire = CH.....

Thanks boxacrazy you know thats what i thought ref red/black, but the strange thing is all the champs on the pedigree are compleatly in red apart from this one dog thats why it stands out.
