My little Scottie is finally ready to go walking now, although she is reluctant to go further than the doorstep at present!  This is fortunate as we don't have an ID tag for her yet - I've just been to Pets At Home and their machine was kaput(ed).  Grrrrrr!

I want a metal disc type engraved with the details - can anyone advise me where to get one?  There must have been a place to get these before places like Pets at Home installed machines, but I can't think - suggestions appreciated!

Shoe repairers do them (ie Mr Minit)
Noticed, the other day,  my vets does than as well, so maybe yours does.

Yes, our Timpsons shoe repairers do them. I initially had mine done with just surname and phone number, then I changed my mind and decided I wanted the address - they put it on the other side of the tags for £1 each. Very good service.

Ah-hah! Thank you.  I thought of shoe repairs/key-cutting places but then thought I'd better check because I would feel rather silly if I walked in and it was unheard of!
I shall check the yellow pages for my nearest.
