can any one tell me? i am sick with worry
my bitch was mated with my dog 9 weeks and two days ago
we did three matings mon-tues thursday but were slip matings dont know why this happend as last time they both tied succesfuly
since then she has gained weight, bagging up  we have seen the puppies move and felt them kick
the change in he vulva which has like a large lip (exscuse my ignorance dont know correct termanolagy)for this percific part of her anatomy.
she has been licking and cleaning her self not a great amount but more than usual with no type of discharge
she is not as large as she was when she carried her first litter
i have had her at the vets this evening as was worried about her she is loosing fluid from two teets when squeezed by the vet
her temp was  normal
also her words it could have been gasses moving around?
three of us have felt them kick and seen them move
she was not relaxed but the vet is'nt sure if she is in pup
her words were if she has any to let her know
and also if i wanted they should scan
but they dont have a scanner but her words were
but we can xray her (worried by that one)
as she said they could be up and tucked away behind her rib cage
going to a diffrent vets tomorrow to get her scanned as pulling my hair out with worry
as the last thing we want is anything happning to her
exspecialy if she has lost them she is our main consern above the pups
if anything happens to her i wont fogive myself.

when my bitch started looking like she might not be pregnant i decided to scan her---the vet told me it was an old wives tale that theyd be tucked up under the ribs,
id have her scanned then you'll know for sure, i had both, a scan and an xray as there was 1 dark shadow on the scan which they thought was a puppy, -the xray showed it wasnt.

HOw are things Doodles?  One of my Spanish once had these lumps that looked as though they were moving, vet said it was food and wind!!!!  She didn't have any pups :d  She had myself and mum fooled though and we've had pups for over 20 years.
