How I wish for a quiet uncomplicated life-
Tomorrow I start my new job and I have an Interview straight afterwards in Piccadilly , Manchester.
All this straight after my exams last week too.
I know I should be grateful but I am feeling pretty darn stressed at the mo !!!!!!!!!!
And I cant even have a drink to chill out with as I cant afford to be hungover in the morning  :o
Anyone want to swop lives for a bit ?

My head is going around in circles as have got a few interviews and many more irons in the fire :)

All this after being off since Feb sick and the maternity leave ! I will have to make sure I don't sit and talk 'baby language in the interviews and make sure my shoulders are sick free ! :p

I am sure you will be fine ! ;)

Well I am not a happy bunney :( :(

I got in my car and it made a horrific noise and came up with a message' Engine Management failure, return to dealership immediately' Last week it said that the oil was low so filled it up and it took nearly three litres. I rang the dealers and said there was something wrong and was told 'just keep an eye on it'

I have cancelled my one interview, he was coming from Southampton to see me and am just about to cancel my other one :( I have another interview tomorrow as well.

The AA won't come out and get it as it is sitting outside my house and under the policy they can only take within ten miles. They won't give me a hirecar either.

I am waiting to hear from the dealership as this car is just under 2 years old and we have had problems from day one, this is the final straw. I have let rip and said that I need to hire a car and they will pay for it. I have had a quote to get a car delivered and for two days it is going to cost £140 as need them to deliver it.

Need a stiff drink or two and might calm down soon. :)

Never mind Lucy there'll be other interviews, whats for you wont pass you by as they say up here. Project Managers must be sought after people. Can you start your own business or work freelance?

Well it has taken 7 hours for the AA to finally come out after god knows how many phonecalls !! I kept getting stupid ignorant plebs who kept insisting that as my car was parked out side my house the AA would only take within ten miles, they wouldn't listen to me that the car was under manufacturers warranty and it should go to an approved dealer , Arrggghhhhh !!! :D If it had been a 1/4 mile from the house then they would have taken it any where in the country !!

Well is has gone and it looked very sorry for it's self but the nice Cheltenham dealers will be looking at it first thing tomorrow for me :) Lets hope it is not terminal.

I have another interview tomorrow but luckily my husband is going to get back so I can use his car :)

Lets hope the nice peeps I was supposed to see today will be happy to reschedule when I have a car again !

Nearly waivered by buying a packet of Marlboro lights but resisted ! :)

I just want a job and to go back to work and be an adult again ! :)

No it is a Fiat Stilo Arbath and has a very latin temperament ! When it is working it is like a pussy cat in wolf's clothing but when it is wrong it is like a plie os Sh*t !! :)

Good luck with the interview and hope you are successful ;)

HI lel, want to come and do my ironing, study my Highway Code and clean the Augean Stables I call home? No? well never mind. Maybe you could get the train and have a glass of something while you whisk up to Manchester. Are you the Interviewer or the candidate, Im confused since you said you had a new job?
- By lel [gb] Date 02.02.04 23:18 UTC
Hi Lorelei
yes I did start new job today but had an interview straight afterwards ( well 1 hour drive away) for the job I would much rather have . Not sure how It went as I dont think I have enough experience but at least I tried .
Now for a nice cold well deserved glass of wine :)
