Kay, that's wonderful, congratulations. I was supposed to have two Yankees at that same show, but I have two others that are off colour with diarrhoea so I thought I should stay away.
Well done you!!!!

Well done it's not a little brag, it's a wonderful moment. Here's for some more. At one of our local shows one of my Pom's went res. best show and the next one he went BIS. Now after 5 years and I'm now in a different breed the committee of the show always ask me where Melvyn is, they remember him by name :d

Congratulations Dawn, you are entitled to a big brag for that. How exciting for you.

I'm so pleased for you,I'm going into my second year of showing and can't wait, even if I don't win( or in my dreams rbis) I still enjoy and learn as much as possible, well done you!!Sandra.
Why just a little brag? You should be shouting :) Well done.
Thank you for all the congrats. I was more pleased with Kira, as she got a scare when she was 9 months (just after her first season) and went through quite a few weeks of standing okay, but not really wanting to be in a ring. She's absolutely fine now, so I was just so thrilled with her, as she is so enjoying it at the moment, she just loves the attention. That was her last show as a Junior too. Thanks again everyone.

Congratulations Kay ;) You must feel great!!! That must be a special dog doing that at 17 months!!!
I can't claim those dizzy heights, I started posting here about 5 months ago after getting a pup that we decided to try the hobby of showing with for the first time. We have been in a few shows, and had tremendous help from some lovely people - well today we got a place in minor puppy that takes us to Crufts in 2005 - it was at the Southern Cairn Terrier Champ Show - something of a default, but just the fact our boy has qualified for Crufts is a BIG buzz. He's 8 1/2 months old and that was last mpd for him.
For those like me that wondered if they should try this showing lark - give it a go, tha vast majority of people are just like their dogs... GREAT!
Regards Dave
Hey, well done Dave. You'll really enjoy your first time showing at Crufts, it's like no other time, a really great feeling. Well Done to you!
