Hi,
Could anyone tell me where I could buy a book in which you can write the pedigrees of both dogs and bitches and so work out a trial pedigree for future matings?

Thanks for your help,
Debbie

Not sure if there is one for sale but why not print one off if you hav a blank copy, or get a blank copy and photocopy it.

I once done that but someone in our breed has set up a website with everydogs pedigree on there.  Needless to say we had many copies of dogs pedigrees to see what will go with our bitch!

Hi Our Dogs do one - used to use it before putting the pedigrees onto the computer.  The pages are split, so you flip over to get the dog/bitch appearing on the same page for the mating you are considering.  You can either mail order it or get it at a Champ show.
bye

Hi Debbie. This is where I use Breed Mate. I have my database of pedigrees and can so easily do a trial mating on there and get a report of "Line Breeding Coifficent"

Another possibility is to scan the pedigrees into your computer, print off copies and selotape them together. This way you have a ready made pedigree of the prospective puppies.

Regards, John
