Could someone please tell me how much ckcs generally run for say a 8 week old pup. Does stud dogs or bitches cost more??. Thanks

If you are looking for a show dog or foundation bitch, your best plan would be to decide which kennel lines you prefer and go to see the stock and ask, 'if I put my name on your (the breeders list) for a puppy what would I be expected to pay'. But don't make it your first question when making the phone call to request a visit to the choosen kennels. JH

Sorry, not my breed, so your quess would be as good as mine, my quess is between £300 & £400 no doubt someone will correct me if I'm way out. JH

From what I've heard I don;t think you're way out Jackie. I would broaden the figure a bit more based on what I have heard over the past couple of years when I was looking into this breed - anything from £250 to £500. You get regional variations and for unregistered pups the lower end of the scale.

i am making enquiries myself at the moment.Don't buy from a newspaper where u will see them advertised for about £200-£250.u probably wont get one of a very good quality for that price.I have been advised from many cavalier breeders to obtain info from the breed clubs.I have done this and most of the ones in my area are quoting me £350 to £450 for a good foundation bitch.However show quality well thats a whole new ball game!!!
