HI all

a friend of mine has just asked me how old can you registrar a pup with the KC and how much will it cost?

the pup/dog is now 19 months old and both parents are Kc reg. breeder moved just before he sent the kc papers off for the puppies.  when he was settled again no one was interested in having the papers so he did not reg the litter.

now my friend wants to start showing her dog, the breeder said that he will kc reg him if he can!

how do you do this and how much will it cost?

thank you for any help

Think the breeder can register a dog they have bred at anytime also think it costs £50 to do just the one dog, could well be wrong in this. The breeder will have to have complied with the requirements of the KC and will have to have the stud dogs papers duly signed.

Can look this all up for you but the best way is to phone the KC as sometimes even reading their rules and regs. does not give clear instructions.

Yeah, it does cost a lot more after 12 months of age, think as the previous poster says it's £50, but not sure.
