Just got back from Ringcraft my third class, all going well, everyone friendly and having a great social time on a Monday.  Today I was talking to a lady who had two Pug's.  One the 11 wk old Pug had plasters on both ears?  Me being me dare not ask why so thought I'd ask on here as I'm braver on here!  I know he may have hurt himself but apart from having his ears pierced i don't see how both ears almost in the same position would have been plastered.  Thanks if  you can help?

Hi, would you believe we just covered this on another thread about shelties.  It is to fix the ears into place.  Almost all baby pupg have button ears, but as they start to teeth the ears start to "fly", and go rose shape.  Ears are therefore taped to held the button shape until teething over.
bye
Gwen

Thank you Gwen, sorry didn't see other thread, I so wanted to get home and ask as I was intrigued all night.  Beautiful little thing and could only imagine it was for shaping of the ears.  Thanks again.
