I think Toby has reached the Kevin stage at 10 months :(  i have got someone coming round to measure up for a new fence, i have a 6ft wall one side of my garden, a 6ft fence at the back but between our garden and my neighbours we have a three foot wire fence, Toby has never attempted to go in our neighbours garden until now, he has made a hole at the bottom of it the cats sit the other side of the fence and tease him, as fast as we fix it he's through it again :o  lucky i have a nice neighbour, until the new fence is up we have to go out in the garden with him

I can truthfully say I would rather have a dog at the Kevin stage than children at the Kevin stage ANY DAY :D

Hi lel,
i also have a teenage daughter she is 15 and i must admit when she is in one of her kevin moods she is 10 times worse than Toby   and at least when i take Toby for a walk he will go tosleep when we get home,

Dog Kevins ( or mine at least) do a great slouching around looking hard done by if recalled, asked to walk to heel, put in a down or god forbid a stay, and a terrific lip curl as in " You what? You cant make me come back if I dont want to, cos Im big and youre not my boss, so there!" And he does huff only instead of slamming doors he chews the plaster off the wall beside his bed.  LIke the ohter adolescent male in the house he eats me out of house and home, pinches stuff he fancies, and he shows off to his pals by slinging a deafie or jumping up on passers by. But on a good day hes still my darling and cant do enuogh for his Mum. :)

man came to measure up for the new fence this morning £400 OUCH, i have a long garden and hubby wants gravel boards on the bottom so the fence does not rot, good news is he can do it begining of next week, at least i know Toby will be safe when its finished,

i'm hoping kevin has not arrived, came home from work today and kitchen lino torn up

sir turned 7 mths this week (boxer), thought i had a few months before adolescence (sp) am not ready.

up until today he has been very good just normal behaviour, launching himself at other half sometimes (but not at me) :D

he is only on his own for a a couple of hours in the morning then a couple in the afternoon...think he has maybe decided to take up interior design :-)

we moved in our house 18 mths ago and redecorated it all, thankfully we knew we would be getting a doggy so left the kitchen and internal doors, lick of paint, new blinds and fresh lino.  The orignal stuck on lino tiles (dont know what they are??)  are now on display....yuk......not sure whether to get a fresh lino (not expensive) but will this one be ripped up?

bless and all he wanted to do was play in the snow.

thankfully am on leave next week and we are going to a cabin in scotland with sister and brother in law, cant wait.

Other half and i in single beds so not sure which bed sir will choose :D :D

Am seriously hoping Kevin hasn't arrived.

Saskia has been such a lovely pup.....absolutely perfect in every way....and now she's started jumping up and smacking me in the face with her paws when she wants attention.  If she doesn't get it she flounces off and either tries to chew something up, or jump on one of the other dogs and beat them up.  So sweet :)

Why oh why do we put ourselves through this time and time again?
Gotta love 'em though :D :D
