Hi all
In 3 weeks Buffy will be able to go out for walks and i was just wondering if there was anyone living in Islington North London that would like to join us?
There are a  few people around here who have dogs but not many that i see walking their dogs often.

Anyway if anyone wants to join us just let me know.

Thanks Debbie

Thanks Lel.

I did see a lady today walking to yellow labs, i was in a rush to get the kids to school so i couldnt ask her if she walked the dogs this way everyday, but i am going to leave tomorrow a bit earlier and hopefully i will see her again.

At this rate Buffy will be very lonely and have no doggy friends :(

Again Thank you

This is just a suggestion but how about asking at your vets if there are any pups being inoculated at the same time as Buffy and then asking if you could leave a message on their notice board, or if the receptionist could pass on a "contact" number to the other puppy owners?

I did this and it worked we still walk with a couple of the people and their pups even 12 months old later. Best of buddies forever I think.

Or will you walk at a regulare time and go to the same place, if so why not go now before Buffy can go out and stop and a dog walker at random :) and check out their dog ie friendly etc ( no point in picking the Mike Tyson of the dog world) then mention you have a pup and do they walk
1. Regularly
2. Would they like compnay.
My moto you get nowt if you don't ask! ;)

Puppy classes are also very good for socialising at too and have a look in the vets as they sometimes have ads etc for people in the same boat as you :)

Mind reading now Lel?

Have you looked at my email to you and are you interested?

Sorry to hijack your post Debbie.

Hi all
We start puppy classes tomorrow night and my plan is to find the women with the 2 labs i saw today and speak to her.
I hadnt thought about putting a notice up in the vets, i will ask them tomorrow night if thats ok.
I also know that the receptionist at the vets has a lab so maybe i could join her on walks.
I'm not bothered about what breed we walk with it's just that so far i have only seen labs about :)

Walk with as many breeds/sizes you can I didn't walk Sal with "small dogs" no reason apart from I couldn't find any and now Sal is not overly keen on  playing with small dogs. She I hink doesn't think they are dogs only the poodle next door does she play with.

just a wee bit Emma.

It looks like we wont be able to go to puppy class tomorrow night, my husband has just informed me that he is working late and i am NOT taking my 2 yr old son. I would hate to think what he would do to 20 puppies lol. So unless i can find a sitter before tomorrow night Buffy will just have to stay friendless for a bit longer.
