I have three dogs and two of the are really good at jumping.  they can clear a six foot high fence by dangling from the top and then pulling them selves over

can any one tell me how to stop  them from jumping over  as my neigh bour next door is a whinging old bag who will start complaining sooner or later

"whinging old bag" LOL  :)

I would think if they can manage to scramble over & they want to do it, it'll be quite hard to stop them.

You could put some trellis across the top of the fences?

Or lots of conifers in front of the fence, to make it harder for them to hop over, but this will take ages for the conifers to grow to the right size!

Or how about building them a secure run in the garden, so that they can't just hop over to see the whinging old bag.

A top section leaning in to your property would do the trick. A dog can, it it can get it's front paws over the top climb any vertical fence but they cannot climb over vertical.

Regards, John

PS. If other people's dogs came into my garden on a regular basis I would be a Whinging Old Bag" too! :(

Hi

i had this problem with a terrier x breed.  I spent ages wondering how he did it until I saw him do what your dog does - he ran up the fence, hooked his front legs over the top and pulled his back end over!! He easily cleared 6'.  I bought some angle brackets and chicken wire.  Fixed the angle brackets onto all the fence support posts and ran the chicken wire across the  brackets.  Because the angle brackets tilted back into our garden he couldn't run up and over - hope it works for you.
