Tyler is a 8 month old Basset Hound.  He is the just wonderful!  He does seem to be riddled with allergies,  I have  him on a few supplements, seameal and Solidgold dog food.  He seems to be doing much better,   however he has a spot on his foot that is really weird.  It looks like the skin is thicker and it is real red, itchy, and pretty bald.  It was the size of a dime and now it's grown to about the size of a quarter.  I have been treating it with some anitbiotic cream but it doesn't seem to be healing.  Some days it looks like it's getting better and then it will look real red and irritated.  Anyone have any idea's.
Thank You for your help!

Hi
Have you asked the vet to take a look at it yet ? And does he tend to lick it at all ?

when I showed it to my vet he said "let's just keep an eye on it"  that was about 4 weeks ago.

In 4 weeks there should have been some improvement . I would take him back again . The antiseptic cream you are using is it a prescribed one from the vets or just an ordinary cream . He may need antibiotics but I would definately get the vet to take another look

Well I wouldn't say it hasn't gotten any better, it has a little, but it has also changed in shape from a circle to almost a clover type. or a figure 8 Crazy I know.....

The vet will not be in until tuesday.  Thank You for your help.  Oh yes it's a over the counter cream called Neosporin.   <><
