As a lot of you no doubt know by now I have a young choccie lab and 4 cats and sometimes I JUST WANT TO KILL THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAaaaaagh

I was woken at 5.30 this morning, to Darcy licking me all over my face, which is actually nothing out of the ordinary, but normally we have a quick cuddle and she goes back to sleep, but oh no this morning she had different plans, she ran off and got her squeaker and then began squeaking it very loudly right next to my ear, I got up to take it off her and of course she ran off. Her favourite game in the world is to be chased.

So I gave up and walked off to the kitchen knowing she'd follow and made her her breakfast (taking the toy off her and hiding it) then I opened the back door so she could go for a wee and then sneaked off back to bed.

Climbed back into bed and belatedly realised that my side of the bed was wet, in confusion I got up turned the light on to discover one of my LOVELY cats had WEEED all over my side of the bed.

So I had to get up, wake up my fiancee who was less than amused and get hi to help me change the sheet and quiltcover.
GOt back into bed.
Darcy at that point came running up the stairs and jumped onto the bed.
I could see she had something in her mouth and presumed it was just another one of her toys until I heard bones crunching.
Jumped up, turned on the lights and saw a DIRTY BIG RAT in her mouth.

I nearly fainted!

Needless to say I am now very tired, and never sleeping in that bed again and putting all of my horrible animals up for adoption

ANY TAKERS???????

Ooooh big rat.  I have to confess on a few occassions I have sat in Bradleys crate and just let the mayhem carry on around me.

No sorry there is no way darcy killed it but feel free to take one of my cats. I have two that are just killing machines!! We regularly have mice, rats, pigeons and rabbits on the patio, the carpet and the bed.

She must have found it on the patio and nicked it.

One of my cats is a real hunter & often leaves us presents on the doorstep. But the other day she brought me a LIVE present! Yep a little mouse & she made it sit about 18inches away from her & every time it went to move she gave it a slap with her paw. I really couldn't help mousy & just had to wait til hubby came back (luckily had only nipped out for a few mins) so he could rescue mousy.

Mitten was not impressed that hubby had rescued her little prisoner & promtly went off hunting again!
