Are there any spaniels in need of rescue?My family are now in the position and have the time to offer a good, careing and loving home to a recue dog. Been trying for ages to rescue a dog, no luck yet, may be the right one is out there some where waiting for us ? jane jenkins@ aol.com

Have you tried calling a rescue centre for whatever breed of spaniel it is your looking for?  They will also have a website, if you do a search on it.  Also, your local dog rescue, is likely to have more than one dog, who you would love to take home.
