- By jacki [gb] Date 22.01.04 16:34 UTC
well today felt fine, and so decided to ask my sister if she would take me to morrisons to get my food shop  anyway got there and felt ok, sis was pushing trolley and i was just walking very slowly along, got down the 3rd isle and started to go hot so removed my coat, yes i fainted, came round with lots of worried faces staring at me..how embarrassing is that? i'm sure some pple thought i was drunk....i was guided to a bench at the end of the checkouts were i layed down while my poor sister finished my shopping. So that was my 1st venture outdoors today and my last for a while too! :D
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 22.01.04 16:43 UTC
Embarrassing, isn't it? I did the same in Tescos a few days after my foot operation. I felt such a prawn.
- By EMMA DANBURY [gb] Date 22.01.04 16:53 UTC
Goodness Jackie,  take it easy.  Now is the time to ask people for help. I hope you are feeling ok now though.  Please, take it easy.

Jacki!!!!  I said one day at a time - not one shop at a time :D :D

Isn't it embarrassing when something like that happens?

Do remember to take it easy though.... you don't want to be back in hospital, do you - even for the hunky nurse :D

:D @ margot
has anyone else had an anesthetic before? if so did you feel faint all the time and how long for?

i'm so BORED!
- By Lea Date 22.01.04 23:38 UTC
I didnt get out of bed for 3 days apart from toilet when I had a major op. And took it really easy for a week. Then had to sit down when walked, very slowly down town!!!!!!! Had a pushchair to hold onto at the time!!!!!!!!
You are not still on Morphine are you Jacki????????
Lea :)
- By jacki [gb] Date 22.01.04 23:54 UTC
no lea i'm not, all i'm taking is co-dydromal and have been on these for 3yrs anyway, maybe its because i had the op on my spine and its affecting me in some way, i had my blood pressure taken yesterday and it was fine :)
