Hi everyone
this may be a bit long I'm afraid but here goes.
Took the boys for a run end of last week(thurs I think) and let Asa off as usual. He ran down to his favourite area of rough grass where he usually tries to sniff out small mammals.Anyway he stopped suddenly and let out a loud yelp, then stood looking at me on 3 legs.I ran down to him and he hopped over to me refusing to put his back leg on the floor.I examined it as best I could and could find no obvious injury...no sore areas. So we turned to go back to the car and within 30 seconds he ran off....100% sound!!!
At manchester on saturday I took him out to relieve himself and he went lame again but only for 4/5 strides. We had only been walking and it was flat.
Today we went to the park and the same as last thursday only didn't seem quite as bad...no yelp.
Now I am totally confused...he is totally sound except for these 'instances',no sore areas and almost instant recovery.
Any ideas what it is??
Treatment?? Am intending on doing a couple of weeks lead only exercise and gradually building up from there....
off to work now but will read any replies whilst there..just can't post!!
