Hi All
I know I posted a message to say how well Dolly is doing by not chasing people and barking at them, which she still is, and being as good as gold by the way which is lovely!!.
I just wanted to ask though what can I do about her mouthing when she is on the lead and someone tries to say hello to her. I know that you shouldn't make dogs face their fears which is fine, but Rosie the other BC loves saying hello to people and I don't want her to suffer because of Dolly. We tried to say hello to some neighbours whilst coming back from a walk yesterday but she would have none of it, the guy was really good and sat down with her so at her level, not staring at her by the way, just ignored her, but everytime he put his hand out to her she'd snap/mouth, she kept doing this while Rosie was getting all the attention!! and then all of a sudden after about 20 mins she went up to him and wanted attention to!!!. Is she just scared of people she doesn't know do you think????, how can I help her to not be scared of people, she's even worse on the lead but I think she just feels even more threatend.
She's doing so well, I just want to make her 100% perfect!!
Thanks again for listening
