Has anyone seen that someone is trying to sell a Weimaraner dog at auction on this site.  Type in Weimaraner. Surely this cant be allowed to auction animals on a site like this???? What should we do???? Apart from write an e-mail of disgust.

Can you imagine not caring to the point that the highest did takes your baby? :(
- By digger [gb] Date 21.01.04 09:59 UTC
The amazing thing about this one is that she appears to have plenty of money to spend on other things, so it's not as if the husbands illness is limiting their income :(
As for the Collie x - how can they look into that dogs eyes in the picture and get rid of him?????  :( :(

This email was with regards to the collie  :(

(My "Question to Seller")
Hello, There is a lot of concern about your auction. It's the subject of a thread on the discussion boards. You probably don't know that it's against the rules to auction animals on ebay. I think people are concerned because it seems heartless, as auction sites are very impersonal and there is no opportunity for you as the seller to check out the home that your pet would go to. Your dog looks lovely and I would offer him a home if I didn't already have a dog. I hope he goes to a loving home and a responsible owner, and beg you to make sure this happens, as I think your auction is likely to be pulled in any case. Sorry if I have offended you, but I am a dog lover and I couldn't say nothing.

(His reply)
thanks for your email its not offensive i have had worse. i didnt know it was against the rules . i love animals but for certain reasons i have to part with him. and know a lot of people use ebay so i thought would be a good idea!

(edit) should say it's not an email i recieved.
