Hi all, i am starting ringcraft soon as i hope to show my gs, i have been talking to a friend and they have sugested that i can get a citizen certificate for her???
has anyone heard of this and if so please enlighten me as i am sure i have mis-heard

The Kennel Club run a Good Citizen Test Scheme, puppy, bronze, silver and gold which is aimed at encouraging owners to be more responsible and dogs to be reasonably trained at a preliminary level.

Thankyou for the replies,would you be able to get the training/certification from doing ringcraft? and does the dogs have to be kc reg or is this scheme open for all

the sceme is open to all but will more be found at obedience clubs as it is more of an obedience thing.

We are starting Good Citizen at West Riding very soon .... not just for obedience dogs ... all breeds, even crossbreeds are welcome
