Hi,

I have a puppy and would like another as a friend for him.  I can't afford another puppy at the moment, so I was wondering what the possibilties are of studing out my dog.  I don't want any money for it, just a puppy to keep mine company.
Does anyone know if this is possible and how I go about it?

Secont time round/ you have to have a good pedigree/show him and learn about the breed, they are not easy to breed or rear so you need to think very hard about it.

If you don't have enough money to buy a puppy, then how will you have enough money to support one?  Vet's bills, innoculations, food, insurance, etc.  Two mouths do cost more to feed than one and vets bills are often double.

Think about whether or not this is truly the right time for you to have another dog, or whether it would be best to wait until your circumstances are a little different and you can provide for your pet without worrying.  Putting your dog to stud isn't the right way to solve your dilemma and could end up costing you money.  It's no good ever breeding from your dog to make money or provide you with anything, it can work the other way round.

Your puppy is fine with just you as a companion this way your puppy bonds to you....Dogs do just fine being the only dog in a house hold some actually like it this way and think they are human as well :D Better thing would be to go to dog classes meet other people and arange walk/play times with other people and their dogs. If you can't afford another puppy just think what the cost to feed as well as shots will cost you, and fixing them as well. To mouths do cost more then one....I'm sure your puppy is very happy to have you as a play mate more so then another puppy. If you are truely set on a play mate for your puppy and I take it the little one is still a puppy why not a kitten this way they grow up together and romp together during play. Just as enjoyable and you will still have your puppy very bonded to you, where with another puppy they will bond to each other more then you. :)
