I have done agility for the past ten years and have had a great time, met lots of great people, two are now very close friends, and we all get away during the summer camping and doing the agility shows,we have fun and lots of laughs, dont worry about how you do at agility just enjoy it and you and your dog have " FUN " good luck.

:D :D :D were back, its was great fun.  Marley jump over some hurdles, went over the A frame, went over and nearly fell off the dog walk thing (plank of wood with ramps either side), he went through a tunnel and weaved his way through some poles in the ground.  My sister came along with her spaniel he did good to :) they all were allowed to be let off for a play after which was really nice.  I'm definately going to go next week, something nice to brighten up a dreary monday :D

You can start training at about 12 months, but with a large dog like a GSD you need to take it easy especially on equipment like the A frame and weave poles.

But now is the time to make sure you put in the time on basic obedience, recalls, downs and the dog running beside you off lead.  If you have all this before you start you will be streets ahead of most in the class.

will definatley have to work on the obedience side of things as for a 9 month old she is a little bugger when there is another dog. On my own she is great, but then arn't they all :-D
