Hello All!
My boy is now 9 months old, and absolutely loves playing and chewing toys, however we have tried to buy strong toys and he just destroys them and for example yesterday he destroyed a total of 6 toys 3 of which were bought yesterday!
Any advice on good chewy toys for him?

Eh the big knotted rope things last a good while, but get the big one like £7 a go but black kongs cant b beat for just letting him have something 2 have a go at.

:D
I know exactly how you feel :D
Gus loves killing teddies so we tend to buy them from the charity shops now for buttons ( although you have to make sure they arent filled with the beanie type innards) :)

Hello all, my 13month staffy Bailey destroyed a large knotted rope in a day and half, he adores nylabones and his kong toy though. Please be very carefull with cheap toys, when im at work my mum looks after him for me,on friday she bought him a bone very similar to a nylabone but cheaper from a local pet shop, while i sat with a cuppa after work i gave him the bone, less than 2minutes later it was in many pieces. No matter how strong the toy you can never be 100% sure so i always keep alert when he is playing with them. Pauly

Hi Lel,
That's what I've been doing, but have given up on that also. They're lasting only minutes!!

Kongs...and kongs...can't beat them. Sal also has a tyre she drags around and a tyre attached to the frame of an old swing she just adores, hanging off it.
She has demolished toys like there is no tomorrow since she got to 4 months...before that she had a "baby" she adored panic whenever she misplaced it, in fact it got so bad we had to go back and buy another two for emergencies she couldn't sleep without it...then she killed it :)
She also plays with plastic pop bottles..but when she stops throwing and starts chewing then we remove them..cheaper than toys.

Hi
I would say that the best toys for a stafford are a big rope, Kong, Boomer ball (hard plastic ball get correct size for a staff) these are quite expensive but are worth the ££, and last but not least a giant size nylabone!!
These are what work for me, and I have 3 staffords!!

Ahh this is great help...Thank you ;-)
Bobby loves empty plastic bottles and will chase them around for a good 10 mins before taking about 1 min to destroy it. I have a shopping list: Kongs, Boomer Ball, Nylabone and possibly even an old tyre (I think Bobby is a kindered spirt with your Sal!)

Currently he is in the boardroom playing with the Boomerball which is also a huge success. So THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! ;-)

:D lmao we have a large knotted rope from Wilko's and it has lasted, she has gone through a rubber chicken in 2mins but i bought a rubber turkey and funny enough it's lasted!!
Those rubber string sausages don't last and i'm still finding bits from months ago!
My daughter wears pull ups and i went into school one day to 'sort her out' and when she was lying down (in front of a special needs teacher) to be sorted i noticed she had a bit of the rubber chicken stuck to her bum :D I was embarrassed i can tell you!
