My Westie is 7 1/2 months old, and is very clever indeed. I was hoping that people could give me advice on what games to play with him? They need to be those that will keep his mind active and keep him thinking.

Obedience training is good. 

You can also try games where you hide a ball, favourite toy, or food treat and your Westie has to go find it. 

Agility is good as well, but you need basic obedience first.

We have an 8 month Westie and we play hide & seek and I've just started on the 'guess the hand game'.  You know- l ike you play with children where you put a sweet (or dog treat in this case) in one hand and then she has to guess which hand it's in.  She does this by putting her paw on the hand which she thinks it's in.  She thinks it's great fun when she gets it right!!!
