I have a 7 month old Staff. Although he is good in every other way he seems to have a problem with other dogs.
When he is playing with other dogs he appears to just want to fight. There is alot of teeth barring, growling and he generally aims for the throat. He is never submissive. The owners of the dogs he plays with say it is just puppy play, but I am not so sure and surely if it doesn't stop now he isn't going to be a puppy much longer.
Any advice on how to stop him playing like this would be gratefully received

Do you take him to any training classes and if so how does he react there ?
I find it unusual for one so young to be this aggressive to others
