Hi i was wondering how much tuna (in springwater) is safe to feed my 22month Westie. So far i've only give him tiny amounts in his Kong mixed with his normal food. He loves it and will sit waiting for more if he sees me open a tin for myself. I buy the small tins (56g drained). Anyone else give their dogs tuna ?.

Mine has it, infact she had a tin (the really tiny tins) every other night mixed with JWB until i changed to something else . She has a large tin every now and again when i remember in the supermarket.
But i know one thing her coat was fantastic to look at and touch:)

I've given my dog small amounts of tuna and Pilchards.  Fish is good for dogs, but you need to be careful with the canned stuff because it can contain large amounts of sodium - and dogs do not need added salt.
