My 18 mth old OES seems to be on a mission to get more and more matted the more I groom him! I am going to buy some more tools as my existing brush and comb are making hard work of the job.
I have been looking at Coat King tools and have decided I need a Dematting Rake and a slicker but am unsure what type of slicker I should go for.
I did take him to a groomers lastr year but because he had a few matts he came out shaved ! a bit of a shck for us! and him I think !! since then he has not been the easiest dog to groom and I plan to try to locate a sympathetic groomer locally who may do a little a week to build his confidence up but obviously there will always be the need for me to do a daily brush up!!
Any recommendations for groomers in Hampshire/Wilts/Dorset I would be interested to know of !
Thanks in advance!!

Do have hairy hounds but not that hairy, think you can get sprays that help you groom dogs that get mats in their coats, only know because members of my family have Newfies and they can mat for England and half the world too.
