My GSD was about 10-12 weeks old before her ears came up, one at a time :).  I believe that they can take up to 6 months to go up and stay up, I've read that it can be linked to teething.  How true this is, I don't know.  My Sasha is now 21 weeks old and her ears are up most of the time (except when she comes over for a cuddle :D).  Sorry if this seems a bit vague, but Sasha is my first GSD, so most of my knowledge comes from books and other people with GSDs (i.e the breeder and others at training with GSDs) who I can harass with questions!!

My 5 1/2 month old chinese crested 's (I know he's not a GSD) ears have been up and down like yoyo's 1 day 1 ear is up and the next day the other ears up, bless him.

shepherds ears can be up and down until they stop teething, they can also be stuck out to the side when teething, they can be half up and tipped over and then one day they can be both be standing.
sometimes shepherds can have what they call soft ear, that is when one won't stand and flops over.

Hiya,

What everybody has said is totally right.

It's normal for GSD pups ears to be a bit odd at that age.  I think it is mainly to do with teething (although it may not always be the case)

It's not something  to worry about, as most GSD pups ears will go up in time.  I've heard of it taking upto 6 months, but the latest, with mine has been 14 or 15 weeks.

I really think, in a couple of weeks your pups ears will both be up....I know I worried with my first GSD that one ear was flopping over...it soon came up and then I worried that his ears were too big for his head!!!

Take care, and good luck with your pup.
