Can anybody give me any info as to courses for professional dog grooming. I am currently living in the country and I have inherited seveval out-buildings which I would like to convert to a dog saloon. I have had experience with dogs in kennels etc and am a dog lover. However I would not start a business without putting the effort and training in first.

there are a lot of grooming schools across england i run one in manchester but i know of many others

I would recommend the Oxford Training School - 01367 241063 - I worked there 17 years ago.  The wrong side of the Midlands, but they can provide accomodation.  Must say that I haven't heard (what I consider to be!) good reports from two folks who have been to Local Authority run training courses.
