New member here.  Bought a puppy last year and whilst took what I hoped I had all the facts to stay away from puppy farmers or bad breeders.  Sadly my own puppy developed problems after only 10 days with us.  Vets did what they could.  Puppy had to be put to sleep on the 11th day of being with us.  I know puppies catch things and get sick but this wee dog had genetic problems that we only discovered after she died.  Can see from papers that one of the grand-sires was a dog brought over from Southern Ireland from a man who is under investigation at the moment.  Am telling everybody I can to write to MP, MEP, MSP, member of Welsh Assemby to use the law and legislation to stop people using the vile trade of puppy farming and indiscriminate breeding to make money.

Now feel able to search for another West Highland White puppy and have contacted some breeders through CHAMPDOGS. I will be more careful this time.  Love to all the doggies out there and hope all owners will give their pet a hug in remembrance of my puppy Skye.

Hi guest, sorry to here about your puppy - here's wishing lots of luck in the search for your new pup.  You are doing the right thing by checking out breeders on CD's don't be put off by lots of questions from potential breeders, the more interest in you..the better the breeder :)

So sorry about your pup, I agree with you the welsh farmers grants is the most stupid idea anyone could possibly come up with!!!  I am only hoping something stops them.
