I was just wondering how long you have to wait to get a hip score back from the BVA......is 8 weeks a long time?

I just got my results back for my boy - they took 4 weeks ;)

And the results are ... ?????

Mine were sent off on 11th December, and were back end of last week, so just under four weeks. When I say mine, I mean my girls ;)

my dogs hip scores were done 11th Dec got the results back on 5th Jan. I was told there was a 9 week wait so was surprised when they arrived

Thanks for the replies.  It's the hip score of the dam of a puppy I'm interested in that I'm waiting for.  The pup is perfect in every way, and exactly what I've been looking for for months, but they didn't get the dam hip scored until after she'd had the litter.  But now I'm starting to wonder whether she's been done at all...its now been about 6-7 weeks

my vet told me that the panel  for scoring the hips only sit once a month, so they should of been done by now.

I have known people wait as long as 10 weeks, as they had a backlog.  It was a dog I bred myself so know this for sure.

My dogs x-rays were sent off on 17/12/03, I got the reults back on 6/1/04, I was expecting to wait around 8 weeks!
