I've heard that Magnetic collars can help dogs with Arthritus.
Does anyone have advice about these and if they work where can i get one from
Thanks

I think it depends on the dog but I used one on my dobe and it worked really well, some other people have tried them on their dogs with good results, but also there are a few that doesn't seem to have an effect on.  Try searching for bio-flow collar on the internet you should come up with some places that sell it.  Its worth a go there is a 30 day money back guarantee if it doesn't work.

I use them on my GSD's, one is 6yr and has bad back legs (hip dsyplacia), but with the collar she can run about around the field, and go upstairs and get in the bath.
I also have a 9 month old that jumped off the arm of the sofa when she was little and twisted her front leg with in two days of wearing a collar it was fine and she was back to normal.
I am looking at getting a magnetic pole that you switch on and rub over the joints of the affected area (can't remember the techinical name) the always show it on Ideal World shopping channel, the man on there Steve has 3 weim and the eldest one has this treatment done and you should see hime fly up 5 or 6 flights of stairs but the machine costs around £100, anway the collars i have come from norstar and range from £14-£19 depending on the size of your dog.

I got a bioflow collar for my flat coat bitch who gets a bit stiff on her back legs. Before she wore it she used to be really stiff on waking up but since she has worn it she is definitely a lot better. My friend is an agent for bioflow and so has heard lots of success stories and only 1 person out of about 30 odd who have used them on all sorts of animals (cats, dogs, horses) has returned it saying it didnt work. You get 90 days to try it anyway and if it doesnt work you get your money back.Just one word of caution though. There are some cheaper ones on sale instead of real bioflow collars and i did try one of these first but it has no effect so did one of my friends and the money back guarantee didnt apply to those. So its worth forking out a bit extra at first - in any event your dog i'm sure will be worth it!
You have nothing to lose and hopefully it will make your dogs life better. Good luck
