Just to run a slant on another post on CD - I feel that every dog has some fault or little quirk, so whats yours ???
Gus has a few  such as he barks to tell you to carry on rubbing him, if you dare to stop for a minute due to an aching hand  (spoilt sod)
he goes berserk when you mention the word walk (shshshsh incase he hears ;) )
and he takes up most of the room on the bed

and he's MUCH too friendly with everyone and other dogs too :D
but other than that he's adorable :D
and he's mine...... :)
Lel

hello, Rosie my westie has a very bad habit of lying on my pillow in bed it is like sleeping with a hat on. In the summer it is even worse because if you wear a hat it keeps the heat in your body so I lie and roast. I am not moaning or I still wouldn't be putting up with it after all these years
ps It is even worse if she passes wind
Jean
my westie does the same, she gets on my pillow and as small as she is I usually find I am sleeping on the edge of the bed, she is only 6 months old and does really funny things, I love her to bits
Hi, well Saffys most irritating habit is barging through the living room door if she thinks there is something good going on in there. The other one is that she insists that I am the only person allowed to hold her lead if I am there - if anyone else has it she just jumps up at me and keeps nudging me to take it back! She is great though.
Fiona and Saffy
Just thought of another one - if she finds my older sons have left their bedroom door open in the night, she sneaks in (she knows she shouldn't really) and sleeps in there. She has even been found on the bed (not funny having a briard in bed with you although my son does like it).

:D
Gus also goes ballistic when we have visitors - I swear he thinks everyone has come just to see him :)

Willow yodels (yep, quite literally!) when anyone comes out of the toilet :s
She also dances on the spot by tappy-toeing her front paws and wiggling her spine at weird angles when she's excited. She also shoves her nose in people's crouches (which is probably my fault from training presents - she figures it's rewarding, and she likes the ballistic reaction it solicits from people who don't know her. Oops.
Oh, and she hates all other dogs and tries to eat them; not so much a quirk as a liability (though I have exaggerated and I am working on this aggression!)

Verbal duvet dives in the cold weather, all very well, but when he tries to get under his head shape isnt designed for the job so he takes the whole thing down to the bottom of the bed!
When its raining he barks and whittles to be let out for a pee, goes and does that, then as soon as you sit back down he realises he hasnt done the other, so up you get again!
Ohh, and his top "trick".. He raps on the letter box in the mornings to make us think the post has arrived, someone dashes to get it b4 he does, and the little swine doubles back leaps on the kitchen table and pinches your breakfast!! AARRGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ohhh and if he does something really naughty, you know because he comes flying in from the bellowing person who caught him in the act sneezing like mad! In our house a sneezing Verbal means "what now???!!!!"
Ohh and if he spots squirrels in the park you can spend the rest of the walk looking a div with a dog shrieking at treetops! lol
Staffords eh!!!????

Ahh, he sounds a real cutie. Well what can I say. Dilita now as she's getting older has her own little world, but she likes it there and is happy!! Still drives me mad most of the time though, she's becoming quite a character as she gets older, she'll be 12 in just over a weeks time.
Anton her great, great grandson is a real joy to own. He is another duvet lover. He is a wonderful kisser!! He lies down on his side, so you have to lie down too, then he lifts up his paws and wraps his legs around your neck and then gives a big sloppy kiss once I've said "I uv you"!!
Carina jumps six foot into the air from the standing position without even thinking about it and Lydia, well Lydia's just Lydia who just looks wonderful for a 10 year old.
Yes I know, it's the owner who's a strange one :d

Bradley howls at the weather reports on radio 2. When he is on his extendable lead he likes to go round the trees several times then he will sit down and watch you unwind the mess he has created. He barks at 7 oclock to watch the simpsons on sky.
His faults are he is a duvet animal (even has his own) and will not get up at 6 am to come walking. I literally have to drag him out
I have to warn visitors not to let Chloe head butt them. It hurts, especially as it is in a very, umm how do I put it, delicate place :D So men be VERY wary of saying hello ;) She does this to anyone she 'speaks' to.

When our girl goes from standing to sit she lets off a little fart roflmao :D :D she's like a toy... sit,squeak.....sit,squeak.....sit,squeak.

Lana has massive sponge feet and our patio doesn't drain very well, she wee's about every 10 minutes and when we let her out she paddles through the puddles absorbing them in her paws...She then has the ability to release the water onto the carpet in the living room....Why did we get carpet???? She too sleeps on the bed

and when I get up for my ritual bathroom visit at about 5:30am I return to find her in my place snuggled up to her dad!!! She's a right madam :D

My darling labrador Sam:
Goes on poop-munching sprees in the park
Butts his head into people's behinds occasionally
Whines each and every morning for us to take him out
Waits for me outside the bathroom door (not sure why this bothers me but it does!)
Tries to mount this biggest dogs at the park he can find (only the males, for some reason)
Still love him to pieces though!

My beautiful GSD pup China:
Howls like a wolf when someone knocks at the door
Can't understand sneezes at all, and has to rush up to check you're OK ;)
Screeches with excitement at the back door (very annoying!)

Insists on stuffing her toys (deliberately) into inaccessible places so she can watch you get them out again :D
Cant leave her water in the water bowl, she prefers it decorating the floor and walls
Whinges until I get up, and if I don't get up eats pens/pencils/etc
Adores ripping up cardboard boxes
IS GORGEOUS :D
Kat

My dense Stafford Sal
Adores the cats but they only tolerate her...especially when she has her her through their cat flap :)
Argues with the magpies in the back garden which can be very very noisy.
Pushes/rolls her kong under the display unit in the dinning room/kitchen and whines and whines until you get on your knees to rescue it.
Has a fettish for stealing hats only when they are on your head - she sneaks on your lap then wheedles her way toward the hat before you realise it.
Oh if there is nothing on the dinning table she sprawls flat out on it ;)
In fact now I list them there are more "bad" points than "good" ones...to Staffie ownership :)

Bosun - yet another Staffy.
Barging through my legs
Laying on the floor behind me when I'm washing up
Greeting guest - a hugh lunge from 20'
Wet Kisses
Being able to move from asleep by my feet to front door at the speed of lightening.
Whinging when he gets wet
Wind - although its funny because he always looks to see where the noise came from
Seeing a cat/squirel on walks - he will not settle back to a gentle pull again
Bed hogging - he has to sleep in the middle across the pillows
Getting him in the bath - guess who gets more wet!
By jellybean

Saxon - another Staff!
Terrible wind - he also looks round to see where the noise came from which is so funny!
Thinks everyone is his friend and wants them to stroke him and make a fuss forever
Can't understand that the cat doesn't want to play but keeps trying :D
Sleeps on the babys play gym when I'm not looking
Takes up ALL my side of the bed
Also, as he has an elizabethan collar at the moment - scratching our legs with it :D
He is adorable though and we wouldn't be without him. I'm sure I have many more faults than he does :D:D

Willis - dane:
1. Whacks me with his paw when I am working to turn his heater on, which he then lies in front of, toasting himself, for hours
2. Insists on coming into the toilet, and drinking out of the tap, and dripping cold water all over me
3. Carries things that he shouldn't have around concealed in his jowls
4. Knows that the blue fleece means he is going for a walk and sits and waits by the door. Knows any other coat means he is being left behind so bars the door sulking.
5. Scuba dives in his water bowl, blowing bubbles and flooding the kitchen
