FOr 18 months now we have endured my lab (child now 22 mths) my choc lab Otis has whined, howled like a wolf when she cries, moans, whinges or even speaks in a repetitive way. At the point of exhaustion and may have to rehome, even for the dogs sake. We love him dearly but he can not be happy.
He is an angel when she is not around. He is 5 in Feb and was with us before she was born nearly two years ago. Have seen two dog behaviouralists/psychologists - am now resorting to Clomicalm, alongside training methods to see if this will help. The situation is now so stressful for all parties that if anyone has any advice/experience of this I would be happy to hear from you.
Thanks.
