Has any body got any surgestons how to sweeten his breath. His teeth are clean so its not that and he is only 3 years old so he is not old i am not sure if its his food that he eats. Can any one help please.

Bad breath can be an indication of dental problems - might be an idea to get the vet to check for you.

Could it be that the food he's having isn't being digested properly?  What are his motions like? (I know you'd prefer not to look but..:D )  If they are very soft then that might be an indication that he's not digesting it properly and might be better on something else.
Not saying you must change his diet, just wondering if it suits him.

My 2 yr old cocker has smelly breath too.   I have a friend who is a dental nurse who says her gums look nicely pink and healthy and there is no visible problem with her teeth.  Poo's are fine, nicely formed and she is fed autarky as is my Springer who doesn't have smelly breath.

Back in the summer I did think it was all the cow poo she ate, but there's isn't much fresh stuff about during the winter!
