Hi all

Slightly off topic but I am going to invest in some decent waterproofs for Agility training on a Saturday (I am fed up with coming up soaked through to my underwear!) but haven't got the foggiest what is a good make.

Anyone got any ideas?

I must admit I am kind of resigning myself to having to pay out a fair amount of cash.  I figure it's not somethign that I will have to replace every year and you get what you pay for I guess!

At the low end of the market are Regatta any good?

Musto, they cost a bit but it is worth it in then end, no more wet legs lol

I can vouch for the breathable waterproof trousers Regatta do - they're fine - been up 1000 feet hill in gales and rain with no problems so why pay more... But the matching jacket is not as good - rain tends to get in through the zip. I think with jackets you need a really good design to keep water out so probably need to pay a bit more and research before you buy. Good luck!

Mine came courtesy of a charity shop, immaculate condition, detachable inside fleece and  a hood....won't tell you how much!  ;)

Just an idea, I don't know what size you are but I can pass for a small bloke size :D so I get all my walking clothes (not boots :) from the army surplus shop.  Its top quality gear and really cheap.

I'm dinky too - petite or so I say ;-)

Might have a nosey in the Army shop near us.

Id get far to excited in an army surplus shop.
