We`are looking to import a siberian husky puppy into Dubai. We have a 5yr old spayed female at present that we brought with us from Canada, who has had no difficulties at all in adjusting to the climate and we are keen to have another one .Is anyone able to help us with our quest? we have a reliable and competent importer here in Dubai who can help with all the paperwork etc etc. Thanks for any help you can give. Please contact me at   alisonmc@emirates.net.ae.

Guest.  Any reputable breeder (and you shouldn't consider anyone else) who cares about the welfare of their puppies will be very reluctant to export to countries that do not have good animal welfare laws, and of course to someone they do not know, as if things go wrong it is too far to get the dog back.

My advice would be to conatact your older bitches breeder who may then be willing to vouch for you with other breeders of their aquaintance, and would then consider letting you have a puppy.

Beware anyone who would happily let you have a pup with virtually no questiopns asked, other than how you wish to pay.

Contacting the breed societies in the country you are sonsidering and making yourself known is another way.  If you can get references from your vet, dog club etc, that again may be of help.
