Anyone know of any ringcraft locally
my 8 month old irish bitch has after a promising start to her show career suddenly decided that judges are totally scary - shes not scared of people or strangers at all - wanders round shows trying to get people to pat her, until you stand her  and someone looks like they might go over her, then its panic stations - was fine until some strange woman with a long flappy cardigan (whatever inspires anyone to wear anything like that to judge anyway)
so am desperately looking for a ringcraft anywhere near (or travelable to) from St Neots to try and get her back on track for crufts
any advice as to how to get her over it gratefully received as well.....

Thanks
S

If you get in touch with the Kennel Club , they will send you a list of local classes

try the wood green animal shelter at godmanchester they used to have a lady that held ringcraft there she was on before we went to obedience, flyball, agility, it was only a small class, i have moved out of the area and i don't know if she still does it,used to be held in the arena inside where the horses are trained.
Good luck.

are you near to Oundle at all, that is very good. It is a very friendly club that is why I travelled an hour to get there every week.

Hi I dont know if this is any help there are ring craft classes at Stotfold which is about half an hour from you and its a straight drive down the A1 so not to hard to find. The classes are run by Ben reynolds-Frost who is a top Judge and can give you lots of advice.I can give you his phone number he lives in Baldock 01462 892498 good luck I think the classes are on a thursday evening but just give him a ring and he can tell you.
