Hi my 13 month old bulldog, won't stop jumping up people or the kitchen side, we call her the kangaroo dog, anyone had any success with stopping this habit, it's driving me nuts!!

Make sure she knows the 'sit' command and make sure she sits before ANYONE makes a fuss of her or pays her any attention at all.  Dogs don't *know* what to do - we have the teach them......

everytime she jumps up pull her down while giving her a command.  Normally I will use "off" or "get".

"get" being the command for oi you wot you up to now behave

Have a simular problem, with my six month old lab, its fine when I am in the room, but when I leave the room she just jumps from the floor directly onto the kitchen sides!!!!  She knows its a no no but she still does it if she thinks she will! Any ideas!

She knows it's a no no when you are about!  You just need to make sure there's never anything on the kitchen sides to make it worth her while.
