We have lab puppies who go on to Guide dogs, who then hope to breed them. In one of the litters they were allocated 2 pups (1 dog and 1 bitch). The bitch had an inverted vulva and the GDBA representative said she would have to check that the breeding centre didn't have a problem with that. They came back to me the same day and said it was fine and they would take her.
I have recently brought a choc puppy with the same problem and didn't see it as a problem because of the above, but my vet is worried about later breeding problems!!!
I'm not worried due to having had a lab before with an inverted vulva and it became normal after her first season.
Sorry its not much help but I'm sure others may know!

Is it something that needs surgery to correct? :-)

A friend of mine bought a terrier pup which later turned out to have an inverted vulva and the vet advised her not to breed from her. Thats all I know sorry.
