Does any one know what you do with Bromeliads to propagate them, there doesn't seem to be any thing in detail on the web.

I know you pot the "pups" (pups are baby Bromeliads :)) in to small pots, but how?

Do you cut the "pups" off the parent plant, or pull them off, or let them drop off.

I've got two that are at the end of their life now :( but between them they've got 5 "pups" so it would be a shame to lose them.

It was lovely wasn't it, I spent days worrying, I'm quite shy really, Mrs K didn't help she said I was going to be kidnapped, she said she's read all about meeting strangers in pubs ;)

For days after, people we're asking me who we're the nice couple I was sitting with, I just said "I don't know, I think they were lonely and needed a friend so they sat next to me" :D
that will keep them talking, village life eh! LOL
