Anyone know if the paperwork is out yet? Mind you if The Sod does not put his underwear back on I perhaps should not be going anyway.
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 03.01.04 10:25 UTC
I've not got mine yet.   They did say that they should be about for about the fifth on the schedule.

Are your boys shedding Nickki, seems an odd time of the year they are usually out of coat for LKA not Manchester.
- By archer [gb] Date 03.01.04 18:01 UTC
Hi Jackie
both my boys had super coats for LKA and are still in full coats!!Fingers crossed that I haven't spoken too soon...they'll probably start blowing coat tomorrow LOL !!
Nikki.

No Nikki they will wait for Crufts, :D at least The Sod should be back by then. He has got to the stage when his main looks all spiky and sparse. So looks like I will be lucky to get placed at Manchester if everyone else has coats like yours :( we have not had any cold weather at all and I recond a good sharp blast might remind him he is supposed to be double coated.
- By archer [gb] Date 03.01.04 19:54 UTC
suppose thats the difference...we've had LOADS of cold weather including snow so the boys need all the insulation they can get.
Yo're right they'll probably loose them for Crufts but up till now they've never really lost their coats to where they look bad...the pleasures of the northern climate LOL
Nikki.
ps hows pup doing ???
- By Brainless [gb] Date 03.01.04 19:58 UTC
Well we actually had a sprinkling of snow that stsy6ed on the grass until 11am.  I have one fast coming back into coat as her pups are 4 months today, and her Mum has holes in the coat on her flanks!!!

I am rather worried that my younger Veteran that I have entered for Crufts will start blowing her coat in time to be bald by then.
- By Jackie H [gb] Date 03.01.04 20:11 UTC
Find my males only do a full change of coat every 2 or 3 years, unlike the bitches which did it twice a year just before Crufts and just before the Hound Show one was so bad that if the wind blew I had to show her round the wrong way else you could see her skin.
But beleve me The Sod looks a mess, well you will see for yourself, one good thing as far as he is concerened I decided he was too thin when he lost the coat and increased his food - bet he looks like a tank when he puts it back in.

Paperwork came today and we are not in the ring till after 12.00 noon, lets hope it is at 12 as we have about 80 hound entered and the later bitch classes are going to be very late. Still I am glad I don't have to leave at the crack of dawn.
- By Brainless [gb] Date 06.01.04 11:27 UTC
Same here.  Bet my lift will be pleased about being able to sleep a bit longer, but not so about getting back late to put the horses to bed!!!

Got my passes today also, am in Annexe B - does anyone know what it is like there??  I was in the Prestwood at Midland Counties and it was great there, so much space.
- By lel [gb] Date 06.01.04 11:53 UTC
Mine came too
we are in Annex A ring 17 (staffys) :)
- By Jackie H [gb] Date 06.01.04 11:59 UTC
I prefer the annex less noisy, but lets face it anything is better than the G-Mex and to be able to park the car on the flat is a real bonus.
- By beardiesokay [gb] Date 06.01.04 22:37 UTC
Rotties were in the Annexe last year at a show at the same venue and it was quite noisy (Birmingham in May, I think??? could be wrong?), maybe it was just the breed (and I like Rotties, but they were noisy at this show in the benching areas when I walked through), . GSD's and Rotties are in the Annxe on Working/Pastoral day, so ???

- By Jackie H [gb] Date 06.01.04 17:27 UTC
Going to check onthe printers site, will let you know what they say.

They only give the entries nothing about times being changed, where did the info come from, have checked Dog World.
- By lel [gb] Date 06.01.04 17:33 UTC
It was on the front page of Our Dogs
I left a post on Saturday morning - definately only Sat and Sun down as being changed.
My Sunday pass says 9am
- By Jackie H [gb] Date 06.01.04 17:35 UTC
May be I am confused because I did not have a schedule in the first place so waited for the passes to see the time. But the passes show us as after 12 noon and Friday as 9.30 start.
- By lel [gb] Date 06.01.04 17:37 UTC
