Just been to the local shop when I seen a rather cute young GSD which seemed to be very plump.  After making a fuss of the dog and chatting to the owner she said she was seven months old and wasnt fat just pregnant.  Surely this is too young for a dog to have puppys?  Can anyone let me know if this is the case (I have never had a bitch befor and never breed)   I was under the impresion a dog should not be breed untill it was at least two and all health checks had been carried out and the dog had something to offer the breed?

Its disgusting she must have breed on her first season! how disgusting! surerly the second season should have been the very earlest!  Id do hop ethis dog and the pups will be safe and healthy I hate to see this type of thing! :-(
